“Implementing Sustainability in your Travel Program – Where to Start” is a presentation hosted by GBTA Sustainability Program Manager, Fanny Everard. It will give an overview of what sustainability means for the business travel industry today and where GBTA’s Foundation sustainability focus lies for 2023. It will also cover how you, as a GBTA member can start implementing travel policies, enhance collaboration and much more, to decarbonize your company’s business travel, with knock-on effect on the rest of the industry. The session will end on a Q&A.
Fanny Everard is the Sustainability Program Manager at GBTA. She has a background in Business and Economics with a MA in Climate Change and Societal Impact from the Columbia University Climate School. Before GBTA, Fanny worked for the UN World Food Program in Rome, Italy where she held an operations and logistics role, ensuring food security for the West Africa region. She is the lead GBTA liaison on the Corporate Sustainability Benchmarking project, to help partners and members decarbonize their travel policies, and develops GBTA’s internal greening efforts.
